Ashinaga is a charity providing educational and emotional support for orphans worldwide. The funds raised from this event will go towards helping orphans in Japan who lost their parents in the earthquake and tsunami that hit the country in March 2011. To provide financial, educational, and emotional support for the children who have been affected by the catastrophe, Ashinaga is planning to construct a facility that will provide both day-to-day and long-term psychosocial support to children who have lost one or both parents due to disaster. The project also entails conducting training programmes for people to act as “facilitators” who will help care for such children in the affected area of Japan.
All those who attended the special gala last year (click here to read review) will know that this is an occasion not to be missed!
