Koichi Sakamoto Directs Nao Nagasawa And Ayumi Kinoshita In Travelers: Dimension Police
Sexy Nagasawa and Kinoshita kick ass in new action-packed sci-fi drama!
You may recall in February 2012 when Diverse Japan interviewed Nao Nagasawa (Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka, Playgirls 2012) that she mentioned she was going to Taiwan the following month to begin shooting her next action movie. DJ can now reveal that the film she spoke of is a sci-fi action adventure called Travelers: Dimension Police directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider W, Kamen Rider Fourze). It will be screened for a limited time of one week in selected theatres in Japan, premiering at Kadokawa cinema, Shinjuku on 13th April.
Dressed in her skimpy black leather attire, Nagasawa, who plays investigator Ai, is set to have pulses racing in this futuristic action-packed adventure. And if that wasn’t enough, fellow tokusatsu regular Ayumi Kinoshita (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger) also appears as her ally-turned rival (or is she?), Yui. The two go up against each other in high-heeled boots with guns blazing and fists flying. Blood will be shed.
Ten years have passed since the discovery of inter-cosmic travel. The existence of three parallel worlds has been confirmed. What happens in one cosmos, even the slightest incident, can create a “butterfly effect” that influences events in the other worlds. In response to these discoveries, the “Dimension Police” and “Space Guardian Academy” are formed.
The beautiful female investigator Ai is the Space Guardian Academy’s top agent. Along with her trusted android partner, Bridge, she has been assigned to eliminate the inter-cosmic terrorist group DOUBT. Amidst the struggle, Ai finds herself challenged like she never has been before when allies become enemies, enemies become allies, and the mastermind behind the evil
plot is revealed. The surprises never end in this sexy, action-packed sci-fi adventure. Who is behind DOUBT and what do they have planned? Will Ai be able to save the multi-verse from those who wish to conquer it?
